What We Believe
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God, given to guide and teach us in all matters of faith and conduct. As written in 2 Timothy 3:16–17 (KJV), “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” We uphold Scripture as the final authority in discerning God’s truth and direction for our lives.
God
We believe in one God who is eternal, holy, and sovereign, existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost (Matthew 28:19 KJV). God the Father is the Creator of all things, sustaining the universe by His power and love. His desire is for humanity to know Him and live according to His will (John 17:3 KJV).
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God (John 3:16 KJV), fully God and fully man. Conceived by the Holy Ghost and born of the Virgin Mary (Matthew 1:20–23 KJV), He lived a sinless life and voluntarily gave Himself as the perfect sacrifice on the cross for the sins of the world. He rose bodily from the dead on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3–4 KJV), securing victory over sin and death. He ascended into heaven and will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead (Acts 1:10–11 KJV)
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit) is the Comforter promised by Jesus (John 14:16–17 KJV). He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8 KJV). The Holy Ghost regenerates believers, empowering them to live a life that honors God and transforms hearts to align with His will (Titus 3:5 KJV). Through His indwelling, believers receive gifts for service and the fruit of the Spirit for godly living (Galatians 5:22–23 KJV).Jesus Christ
Salvation
We believe that salvation is a free gift of God’s grace, received by faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8–9 KJV). No amount of good works or human effort can earn salvation. Instead, individuals must repent of sin and accept Christ as Lord and Savior, entering into a new life in Him (Romans 10:9–10 KJV). Those who are saved are sealed by the Holy Ghost and adopted into the family of God, secure in His love (Ephesians 1:13–14 KJV).
Ordinances
We believe in two primary ordinances given by the Lord Jesus:
Baptism – An outward expression of an inward transformation, symbolizing the believer’s identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ (Matthew 28:19 KJV; Romans 6:3–4 KJV).
Communion (The Lord’s Supper) – A sacred act of remembering Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, partaking of bread and the cup in reverent acknowledgment of His body and blood given for our redemption (1 Corinthians 11:23–26 KJV).
Christian Living
We believe every believer is called to walk in holiness and love, reflecting Christ’s character in daily life (1 Peter 1:15–16 KJV). This includes regular prayer, studying Scripture, worship, and caring for those in need (James 1:27 KJV). We also stand firm against sin, trusting the Holy Ghost to refine our hearts and guide our actions (Galatians 5:16–17 KJV).
The Return of Christ
We believe Jesus Christ will return in power and glory to complete His redemptive work, bringing justice to the world and establishing His eternal kingdom (Revelation 19:11–16 KJV). The hope of His return motivates believers to remain faithful, watchful, and engaged in the mission of sharing the Gospel (Titus 2:13 KJV).
Eternity
We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost: the saved to everlasting life and the lost to everlasting separation from God (John 5:28–29 KJV). Heaven is a place of eternal joy and fellowship in the presence of God, while separation from God is a consequence of rejecting Christ’s offer of salvation (Revelation 20:11–15 KJV).
